A well-established, international business within the technology sector is looking for an experienced Technical Architect to join its growing technology team.
In this business-critical role, you will be hands-on in providing technical leadership and will be responsible for guiding and shaping big data solutions across the business and aligning solutions with overall technology strategies. You will lead a talented team, and help drive forward any improvements in the current design, processes and implementation of the company’s big data solutions.
To be suitable for this role, you must be an experienced, hands-on Technical Architect with experience handling extremely large volumes of data. You will have a thorough understanding of Data lakes and Data Warehousing and will have extensive experience owning and developing big data solutions, ideally using Databricks and SPARK.
Further to the above, you will have a thorough understanding of Azure and SQL, and any experience with Hadoop and Apache Kafka is also desirable but is not essential.
