A government body is seeking an experienced Technical Application Support Officer to provide collaborative support to service colleagues using internal systems. Duties will include assisting with systems requirements and navigation, diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues (escalating complex cases to the appropriate teams), building and maintaining dashboards, configuring diagnostic tools, reviewing product updates, supporting onboarding new employees, updating documentation, and providing excellent customer service.
Based in the Lewisham area, South East London. This is a contract role for initially 24 weeks (35 hours per week) from approximately 20th October and paying £24.36 per hour, less deductions for insurance, taxes and umbrella company charges (PAYE £19.10 per hour). The closing date is Tuesday, 14th October.
To be suitable for this role, you must have proven experience in a Technical Support Engineer, Application Support Officer, IT Support Technician or similar role supporting in-house applications in a complex organisation, ideally in a Borough or Council environment. Any experience with Totalmobilr, or another Field Service Management software, would be highly desireable, but not essential.
