Due to continued growth & expansion my client has a newly created Tax Manager position to join their accounts practice in the North Kent area of Dartford. This role can either be fully remote or hybrid, and pays a salary of £75,000.
To be considered for this position you will have a solid proven background as a Tax Advisor, ideally within an accounts practice.
As an experienced Accountant, you can be either qualified by experience or be CTA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
Ideally, you will have some experience working at an Accounts Practice giving tax advice with a strong focus on client consulting and tax planning. As the Tax Manager you will be in a standalone position as the practice tax specialist working in a consultancy capacity to liaise with, advise, and manage a wide range of clients.
You will act as the primary contact for client queries – this may include tax structures, property transfers, SDLT implications, extracting profits and share buybacks.
Further responsibilities will include reviewing self-assessment tax returns prepared by junior client accountants, and managing & delivering specialised projects – this may include setting up family investment companies, linked investment companies, obtaining EIS status, demergers, incorporations, trust formations, and inheritance tax planning.
This role can be either office-based, hybrid, or fully remote. My client is in the Dartford area of North Kent.
