A highly successful and rapidly growing FS business based in the City are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer with Windows experience to join their established IT Team. Linux experience would be advantageous but not essential. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business where you really have a voice and the opportunity to influence. This role will be uniquely made up of 50% BAU work and 50% project work.
This role will focus on the design, installation and upgrade of wider infrastructure including Windows and Linux Servers, network, voice and desktop systems and ensuring the availability of all systems effectively.
To be suitable, you must have experience across the following technologies:
Working knowledge of complex Windows and server environments
Server builds and remote management
LAN and WAN networks, switches and routers, firewalls and VPNs
Good understanding of SAN, DAS storage environments
Virtualisation technologies; Hyper-V or VMWare
Scripting languages; PowerShell, Python, Bash etc
The salary on offer for this role is up to £60,000 plus 20% bonus.
