A not-for-profit housing association based in Central London are looking for a Systems Administrator to join the team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Systems Administrator looking to take the next step in their career, working towards an Infrastructure Manager role. The ideal candidate will have experience working within an MSP and will have experience with VMware and Azure. This role would suit an experienced Systems Administrator, 3rd Line Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or Infrastructure Manager.

As the Systems Administrator you will ensure the efficient operation of the business infrastructure and networks both on site and cloud and lead in your areas of expertise. You will work closely with the Head of IT to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost effective tech solutions for all areas of the business and keep up to date with any issues.

Your key responsibilities as the Systems Administrator will be to plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support and optimise all network hardware, software and communications links within the company network infrastructure. You will ensure current infrastructure is effective, up to date, secure and able to support the current environment and also capable of updating with future technology. You will have day-to-day operational responsibility for service delivery, quality issues and security.  

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant IT degree and will have working experience in implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting networks and Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure, managing premise Firewalls and Wi-Fi deployments, Office 365 and Azure implementations, VMware, Microsoft Exchange 2016 admin, Active Directory, cyber security and a thorough knowledge of TCP/IP, LANs, WANs, and VPN technology.

The salary on offer is up to £55,000 per annum dependent on the level of experience + an excellent benefits package.
