A successful start-up is seeking a skilled SysOps Administrator to help monitor and scale their hybrid cloud infrastructure to support their growing customer base and the client profiles that they’re taking on.

Responsibilities:

  • Linux user, groups and access policies management
  • Databases management such as PostgreSQL and Mysql
  • Docker and other Containerization technologies such as Kubernetes
  • Installing, upgrading and monitoring antivirus and firewall software to protect our networks
  • Monitoring AWS and Azure Hybrid cloud Infrastructure (CloudWatch, CloudWatch agent, Alerts, Dashboards)
  • Managing technical documentation
  • Monitoring up/downtime of softwares and reporting to tech team
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform
  • Testing and Auditing Infrastructure for Security Loopholes
  • Help in the implementation of Cl/CD pipelines
  • Internal auditing for ISO27001 standards

 

Desirable skills/experience:

  • Advanced Linux/Unix administration
  • Proficiency in Nginx/Apache configuration, SMTP and server management.
  • RDBMS such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
  • Strong AWS/Azure cloud networking skills (VPC, VPN, peering, NACLs, DNS)
  • Scripting language (at least 1 from) : Python, Bash, Powershell, Go
  • AWS/Azure associate experience (desirable)
  • Git and Github
  • Cl/CD at least 1 from :Jenkins, CircleCI, Github actions, Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with information security standards
