A well-established business is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer with knowledge of Linux or UNIX to join the team. This company operates a hybrid working model so you will be able to work from home 2 or 3 days per week.
You will act as a key support service to the business, whilst gaining further exposure to a range of systems including Windows Servers, UNIX, Linux and IBMi.
The overall remit of the role will be to provide hands-on technical support to the client’s customers, whilst becoming an expert in resolving queries relating to cutting edge software applications operating on Windows, UNIX and IBMi platforms.
To be considered for this position, you must possess excellent customer service skills, along with demonstrable Windows support experience, as well as knowledge of administering either UNIX or Linux.
Ideally, you will also have some scripting experience and knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
