A large internationally recognised business is looking for a proven SQL BI Developer to be part of the Data Operations team based in North Glasgow.
The successful candidate will support and maintain components of their data warehouse, business intelligence and reporting stacks. Duties will include writing code / automating the flow of data between internal applications, designing and managing the database, capturing and documenting requirements, debugging code, as well as keeping informed about current best practice.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have experience working in a BI Developer, SQL Developer, Database Developer or similar data focussed development role. It is essential to have strong SQL skills, including querying, stored procedures, views, API calls and basic warehousing techniques) as well as good knowledge of SSIS, SSAS, and creating / designing data visualisations. Any Powershell / SAP Business Objects experience or SQL, BI or DBA related Microsoft certification will be considered highly beneficial but is not essential.
This is a pivotal role in a large constantly evolving business - they have plenty of planned enterprise-level projects. The role is paying £40,000 - £48,000 depending on experience plus benefits.
