The Ashdown Group has been commissioned by The Royal Foundation and The Earthshot Prize to identify a creative Social Media, Community & Content Manager join their team. The Social Media, Community & Content Manager will play a critical role in developing The Earthshot Prize brand and leading the development, engagement and growth of The Earthshot Prize community online. You will be a creative, collaborative digital native who loves to turn strategy into action, influence and engagement, and wants to take the world on an innovative journey to regeneration! You will have the ability to capture content, edit and design whilst managing performance and creating exceptional social media experiences.

Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will have excellent organisational and communication skills and be able to identify and develop engaging stories and solutions. This role is critical in executing strategic initiatives, providing exceptional audience experiences, and driving functional excellence and process improvement.

You will spearhead, test and measure creative ways to engage and activate TEPs audience/community on social media from insight to delivery and will partner with the creative team to create compelling content that appeals to the audience, and unique role of each digital channel, ensuring all content is on-brand, in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice. You will lead and manage the execution of an influencer/catalyst marketing and communication strategy using a social-first approach, with a focus on key campaigns, cultural moments, and the annual Awards Ceremony.

To be suitable for this hugely important role you must have proven experience of harnessing your storytelling ability and deep knowledge of social media to build and engage a global online community. You understand brand and performance marketing and can easily shift from thinking strategically to rolling your sleeves up and executing smaller tasks. You will build audience profiles, segment markets, run paid campaigns, and build communities, always with a rigorous eye on improving the user experience. 

Your experience will include developing differentiated content optimised to the unique interests of multiple audiences. You will have the ability to create content and/or creative briefs for photo and video productions whilst also capturing / editing content and will have proven relationships with agencies, influencers, and platform partners. You will have a rigorous focus on data analytics and ROI and will have proven experience with Facebook Business Manager, Google Ad-words and Display Network. Your responsibilities will include monitoring campaigns, spend allocation & bidding across channels, creating adverts, tracking activity and analysing performance data.
