Senior Test Analyst

A market-leading software company boasting some of the world’s largest tech companies as clients is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to be responsible for the various testing activities needed for validating the product. As well as testing assigned features, you’ll be involved in organising the testing activities for the entire QA team (creating test plans and assigning test cases, providing test reports, monitoring the progress on the features under work).

The role will be predominantly remote with 1 day per week (currently Thursday) reserved for the Engineering department when it is suggested to come into the office (based in South West London). Core hours would be 10.00 – 18.00 as this role involves liaising with a team based on the US East Coast.

You’ll be a passionate tester, who takes pride in releasing the best possible quality product. You’ll be curious about IT and its inner workings and get a kick out of figuring out why things happen. You’ll enjoy fiddling with scripts and settings to make them work the way you want.

You must be able to work well independently or in a small team.

• You will work closely with the Development and Product Management teams to deliver a high-quality product to our customers.

• Functional testing, End to End (E2E) testing, Regression testing, Grey box testing.
• Good knowledge of bug lifecycle management and testing process and able to adaptability to the needs of the team.
• Previous Test Automation experience
• Working knowledge of Test management tools (like TFS, JIRA, ALM/Quality Center etc.).
• Problem-solving attributes and quick adaptability to changes in a project.
• Previous experience with debugging software (Browser Console, SQL Profiler, Postman/Fiddler)
• Understanding of Microsoft IIS.
• Basic knowledge of Database concepts (T-SQL/PL-SQL).
• Experience of testing integrations with a good technical grasp of platforms, web services and API’s.
• Experience in Microsoft Windows and SQL Server: configuring, investigating performance and scalability issues.
• Basic Linux knowledge.
• Professional experience in testing (minimum 4 years).
