Senior Network Engineer – London – Hybrid
A highly successful and growing MSP specialising in cloud communication solutions are looking for an experience Network Engineer to join their team. Leading a small team; coaching mentoring and managing, you will work to support a range of technologies including unified communications, networking, security and cloud services. This role would suit a proactive Network Engineer that enjoys project work as you support customers to deliver robust and secure networks.
As the Senior Network Engineer you will work to support and troubleshoot and well as optimise existing managed networks; becoming a trusted advisor to the team and clients alike. You will work independently and with your team to make sure an excellent service is delivered as you design, plan and implement network solutions; improving the configuration and consistency of existing networks. You will act as the technical authority on the organisation design board for network services and will manage installations and upgrades; reviewing and approving technical proposals by the team. You will also act as an escalation point; leading incidents through to resolution.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Network Engineer, ideally with previous experience in a manage service environment. You will have experience with Fortinet and maybe even an up to date NSE4 Certification. You will have strong planning and organisation skills and will have expert level knowledge of firewall concepts and technologies. Experience of SD-WAN technologies would be beneficial.
