The Ashdown Group has been commissioned by The Royal Foundation and The Earthshot Prize to identify an accomplished Senior Manager, Stakeholder Engagement and Experience to join their team on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract.
The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge unites people to tackle some of today’s biggest challenges. They recognise that when people come together, they can achieve great things and they use their passion and unique influence to make a lasting difference on the issues that matter most to society. The Earthshot Prize is a not-for-profit start-up that currently sits within The Royal Foundation but will spin out to become an affiliated independent organisation in 2022.
The Earthshot Prize is the most prestigious global environment prize in history, designed to incentivise change and help repair our planet over the next ten years. The Prize aims to turn the current pessimism surrounding environmental issues into optimism by highlighting the ability of human ingenuity to bring about change and inspire collective action.
In order to deliver this audacious vision, The Earthshot Prize (TEP) is now seeking a Senior Manager to lead engagement with its nominees and international coalition of nominators. You will develop and implement strategies to ensure the search process is user-centered and delivers a great experience. You will design and develop programs to connect and engage nominees and nominators, creating an ecosystem to share knowledge, leverage support, and celebrate successes.
In order to be suitable for this role, you must have previous experience in developing end-to-end user journeys that deliver an outstanding experience and high levels of engagement. You will have a passion for implementing innovative ways of working in an entrepreneurial environment and will embrace strategic planning and measuring results.
You will play a thought leadership role in guiding how TEP interacts with key stakeholders and will oversee database management and communications strategies. You will ensure that TEP is exemplary with transparent, fair, equitable, and inclusive processes and policies and will constantly look for ways to refine and improve the experience for all nominees. You will be expected to exemplify the values of transparency, collaboration, inclusion, curiosity, and kindness. Constantly eager to learn, you will build up a network of corporate, institutional & academic partners that you will collaborate with in support of the prize finalists.
