An internationally successful and market leading company is looking for a driven Senior Technical IT Support Engineer with some mentoring / team leading exposure to join its IT team based in the Enfield area, North London / Hertfordshire borders. This will be a hands-on role as the successful candidate will be providing 2nd / 3rd line technical support (infrastructure – MS stack) to approximately 200 users. Reporting into the Group Head of IT, the role will also involve providing day to day oversight of the IT function (technical support and application support teams), ensuring tickets are resolved within the defined SLAs – a great opportunity to take on more responsibility and gain managerial experience.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have worked in a Senior Technical IT Support Engineer, Helpdesk Team Leader, Service Desk Manager, Lead Windows Systems Administrator or similar senior technical role with some exposure to overseeing, mentoring or leading some junior staff. It is essential to have broad technical knowledge covering as many of the following as possible Windows Server, Windows 10, Office 365, Exchange, Azure, networking and VoIP. The ideal candidate will also have some industry relevant certifications such as IT degree, MCP, MCSA, MCSE. ITIL, VCP or similar, however this is not essential.
