This is a newly created position for an experienced Senior IT Engineer to take a customer-focused position paying £45,000 based in Guildford. My client is a long-established & highly regarded MSP, they have been in business for well over 10 years, have 5 offices across the UK, and employ circa 50 members of staff. They can offer excellent career progression and the chance to work with the latest cutting-edge systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and outgoing IT Engineer to provided 3^rd Line BAU customer support as well as carry out various customer install / migration / rollout projects.

To be considered for this position you will ideally have an MSP / consultancy background or have worked in a high pressured and fast-paced professional services organization.

As a Senior Windows Infrastructure Engineer you will have previous experience working across a complete on-prem & cloud Microsoft stack.

Primary technical skills include:

Active Directory / Azure AD
Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019
Office 365
Exchange Server / Exchange Online
MS Azure
Windows 10
MS InTune / MS Endpoint Management

Secondary technical skills include:

Azure Windows Virtual Desktop / Citrix
HyperV / VMWare
Network switches, routers, firewalls & wireless systems
Antivirus & Backup solutions
PC's, laptops, printers, servers, VoIP, mobiles & tablets

This will be a mixed role requiring the flexibility of different disciplines. Some days you will be working on a service desk providing 3^rd line remote support, some days you will be on customer sites providing onsite BAU support, and other days you will be working on new projects using the latest technologies.

This role is paying up to £45,000 and although is currently purely working from home-based, once it is safe to do so, you can mix your week up with working from home, working from the office and working at customer sites.
