Based within walking distance of Victoria station, an impressive FTSE listed organisation, is seeking an expert infrastructure specialist looking for an eclectic challenge.
This is an opportunity to take a ownership of a significant range of technologies, while applying project management and change management techniques. You will be supporting BAU and working on the deliver of key projects across 2020. You will be considered a senior team member. You will be expected to deputise for the absence managers, and to lead and mentor junior individuals.
You will be the point of escalation across the server estate, network infrastructure and storage platforms. This is a multi-site network, across the UK and offshore. You will focus on Windows Servers, Virtualisation, Networking, Security and Storage.
An example of a project in 2020 will focus on a cloud storage upgrade. You would be expected to design and manage the project, delivering against mainstream methodologies.
To be suitable you will need to demonstrate expertise in Windows Server, including PowerShell scripting, Hyper-V, firewall setup, SANs and McAfee Endpoint Security.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work in an ITIL based environment, increasingly working with Cloud infrastructure.
