A large and established technology business is seeking a proactive Senior InfoSec Incident Response Engineer to join their growing security team. The role will be largely remote, with occasional trips into their (West) London office. The successful candidate will be part of a team of forward-thinking, enthusiastic problems solvers responsible for the security, reliability, and operability of their business-critical platforms. Duties will include designing and building tooling that enables enterprise programmatic automation as well as leading the response to security issues across digital security.
In order to be suitable for this role you must be a strong graduate (InfoSec, Computer Science or equivalent degree) with proven experience in an Information Security Analyst, Cyber Security Engineer, Information Security Consultant, Cyber Intelligence Analyst, Information Security Administrator or similar role with a focus on incident response, security engineering, and intrusion detection in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
It is essential to have strong technical knowledge of operating system security, cloud security, network security, cryptography, software security, malware analysis, forensics, security operations, incident response, and emergent security intelligence.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about information security, the threat landscape and security automation / tooling as well as excited about working in a fast-moving IT security environment.
