The Ashdown Group has been commissioned by The Royal Foundation and The Earthshot Prize to identify an accomplished Senior Impact and Insights Manager to join their team on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract. As a truly global and inclusive organisation, applications are welcome from candidates based internationally.
The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge unites people to tackle some of today’s biggest challenges. They recognise that when people come together, they can achieve great things and they use their passion and unique influence to make a lasting difference on the issues that matter most to society. The Earthshot Prize is a not-for-profit start-up which currently sits within The Royal Foundation but will spin out to become an affiliated independent organisation in 2022.
The Earthshot Prize is the most prestigious global environment prize in history, designed to incentivise change and help repair our planet over the next ten years. The Prize aims to turn the current pessimism surrounding environmental issues into optimism by highlighting the ability of human ingenuity to bring about change and inspire collective action.
In order to deliver this audacious vision, The Earthshot Prize is now seeking a Senior Impact & Insights Manager to lead impact measurement and make recommendations to inform strategic planning. You will have proven experience as a research, impact, insight or category manager and will have a passion for environmental and climate-related research and for storytelling – your superpower is the ability to translate complex data into compelling actionable insights.
You will have experience in synthesising and analysing complex and diverse data sets from various sources, including communications insights, social media, news reports, interviews and surveys. You will have demonstrable expertise in research design (qualitative and quantitative), creating robust and engaging reports and presentations, and managing delivery partners.
Reporting to the Head of Search and Selection, you will play a thought leadership role in guiding how the impact of The Earthshot Prize is measured but will also roll up your sleeves to conduct primary research and data analysis. You will have a broad remit, working across the entire organisation, and with strategic partners and key stakeholders, to scale up the impact of the Prize’s Winners and Finalists.
You will exemplify the values of transparency, collaboration, inclusion, curiosity and kindness, and will be a natural relationship builder and consummate communicator.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a socially engaged Senior Insights and Impact Manager to make a profound contribution to the growth and development of a truly inspiring charity with a transformative global vision.
