A client-centric practice that has been operating for more than 20 years is looking for a proven Senior Financial Accountant to lead and support a team of Accountants tasked with providing a complete range of accountancy services (bookkeeping, payroll, management accounts, FCA reporting, statutory financial statements and tax returns) for multiple clients / ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNWI) in the UK & Europe. This will be a fully remote role, with only occasional travel into the London office required. Duties will include building and mentoring a small team of qualified Accountants, reviewing work for quality and compliance, ensuring assignments are completed on time and in budget, undertaking the more complex accountancy tasks and providing a point of contact for clients.
In order to be suitable for this role you must be a fully qualified Accountant (FCA / FCCA) with substantial IFRS / UK GAAP (10-15 years), and Practice or large account experience, ideally with some Big4 exposure. Multi-disciplinary management accounting knowledge, corporation tax, FCA, External Audit and other regulatory reporting experience is essential, as well as working knowledge of various accounts systems. The ideal candidate will have experience building and leading teams, resolving cross-border issues, as well as fluency in English and at least 1 other major European language (Italian, Spanish, French, German or Portuguese).
