The Ashdown Group has been commissioned by The Royal Foundation and The Earthshot Prize to identify a Senior Designer, Creative & Content to join their rapidly expanding team.
The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge unites people to tackle some of today’s biggest challenges. They recognise that when people come together, they can achieve great things and they use their passion and unique influence to make a lasting difference on the issues that matter most to society. The Earthshot Prize is a not-for-profit start-up which currently sits within The Royal Foundation but will spin out to become an affiliated independent organisation in 2022.
The Earthshot Prize is the most prestigious global environment prize in history, designed to incentivise change and help repair our planet over the next ten years. The Prize aims to turn the current pessimism surrounding environmental issues into optimism by highlighting the ability of human ingenuity to bring about change and inspire collective action.
To deliver this audacious vision, TEP is now seeking an imaginative and experienced Senior Designer, Creative & Content who can lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional, insight informed, magical creative for The Earthshot Prize brand. You will be a strong collaborator and deliver well-crafted, innovative and creative content ensuring design and visual excellence for this high-profile global brand.
You are curious about finding and telling stories and confident in delivering innovative and engaging creative for multiple channels of distribution. You have a passion for creativity and are a master executor when it comes to your craft, comfortable working across several mediums including content strategy, art direction, content design and creation, moving image, graphics and digital content design.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have extensive graphic design and art direction experience in a branded content, agency, editorial or marketing environment. You will have an exceptional portfolio of relevant work, exhibiting extensive experience in digital and editorial design. You will have deep knowledge and expertise in all aspects of layout, typography, illustration, identity, digital, experience production and publishing across multiple formats and platforms, coupled with a thorough understanding of today’s creative landscape and how people engage with content from digital products to environments and experiences. You will have experience bridging the connection between business needs, creative vision, and consumer interests and an entrepreneurial spirit and proactive approach.
You will closely collaborate with the internal team, partners and a wide range of visual storytellers to deliver best in class narrative, photography, video content and digital design in service of achieving The Earthshot Prize strategy. You will ensure all creative and content is on-brand, diverse, dynamic and resonates with the target audience and deliver innovative projects that are well planned, expertly briefed, creatively exceptional, on time and within agreed budgets.
