The Ashdown Group has been commissioned by The Royal Foundation and The Earthshot Prize to identify an accomplished Senior Content & Programme Manager to join their team. As a truly global and inclusive organisation, applications are welcome from candidates based internationally.
The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge unites people to tackle some of today’s biggest challenges. They recognise that when people come together, they can achieve great things and they use their passion and unique influence to make a lasting difference on the issues that matter most to society. The Earthshot Prize is a not-for-profit start-up which currently sits within The Royal Foundation but will spin out to become an affiliated independent organisation in 2022.
The Earthshot Prize is the most prestigious global environment prize in history, designed to incentivise change and help repair our planet over the next ten years. The Prize aims to turn the current pessimism surrounding environmental issues into optimism by highlighting the ability of human ingenuity to bring about change and inspire collective action.
In order to deliver this audacious vision, The Earthshot Prize (TEP) is now seeking an accomplished Senior Content & Programme Manager to own the day-to-day management and coordination of the story-telling activity of the charity.
You will be a creative, intelligent, consummate communicator who is naturally collaborative and great at ensuring accountability. You will manage the full lifecycle of complex media and comms projects from inception through to execution and will combine intellectual curiosity, adaptability and strategic thinking, with a willingness to personally deliver multiple concurrent workstreams.
You will have a passion for storytelling, deep knowledge of TEP and the overarching comms and marketing strategy, coupled with the ability to build relationships with key partners, enabling you to add value to every conversation and facilitate extraordinary collaborations. You will also be supremely organised and flexible with the capacity to work at pace.
Your deep experience of the creative industries will enable you to work across content, media, marketing and events. Partnering with the Chief Content Officer, Head of Media Engagement and Chief Marketing Officer you will create, manage and coordinate the content calendar for TEP ensuring all activity is complementary, well planned and delivered seamlessly.
You will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex marketing and media projects and will be recognised for your professionalism, sound judgement, and ability to elegantly translate complex ideas into simple but highly effective plans and media campaigns.
TEP is committed to building a diverse international team that is representative of all sections of society and to sustaining a culture that celebrates difference, encourages authenticity, and creates a deep sense of belonging. They recognise that by encouraging innovative and creative ways of thinking and fostering an inclusive culture they will collaborate more effectively and achieve better outcomes.
You will exemplify the values of transparency, collaboration, inclusion, curiosity and kindness, and will support the development and execution of a global media, marketing and events engagement strategy for 2022 through creative storytelling, public engagement and brand development.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a socially engaged Senior Content & Programme Manager to make a profound contribution to the growth and development of a truly inspiring charity with a transformative global vision.
