Our client a long established and highly reputable organisation within the Events sector are recruiting for a Business Development Director. Ideally with experience within events sponsorship you will have built a successful career in sales with a proven track record in new business and senior level account management, preferably with experience of providing services to the Healthcare sector. You will be solely responsible for building revenue and the relationship management of their top ten clients so you must have a history of successfully increasing profitability from existing accounts and identifying opportunities for increased spend.
Being motivated and results driven are given for this role we are seeking candidates who are relentless in their focus on understanding the customer and providing them with solutions that will meet their unique needs. You will have a consultative sales approach, establishing client requirements and suggesting solutions from portfolio of product offerings.
You will be responsible for putting in a place a sales strategy analysing data and using sales tools available to you. As well as setting and exceeding monthly/quarterly targets based on set KPIs you will effectively forecast and build a pipeline of new business and existing client revenue..
As well as being a confident communicator at a senior level you will also be highly proficient with MS Office. Having experience of Salesfore, Marketo. Conga, SharePoint, Natterbox or Sales Navigator would be beneficial.
This is a hybrid role with two days a week based at the company’s modern Central London offices and the remainder of the week working remotely.
