Ashdown Group have been engaged by a Global Publishing organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a 9 month contract. This will sit in the Technology division and look at the Finance systems.
The purpose of the contract will be to ensure that business needs and requirements are analyzed, defined, and clearly communicated between the stakeholders, executive sponsors, and the Technology team and enable continuous process improvement.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Eliciting, analysing, and documenting business requirements and solution designs
- Applying the most appropriate business analysis techniques to identify, clarify and prioritise business needs.
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholder groups using the most appropriate method (e.g., workshops, interviews, surveys)
-Leading discovery work, requirements elicitation and analysis on complex initiatives
You will need the following skills or experience:
- Extensive experience of applying business analysis techniques on successful teams implementing major initiative.
- IT expertise and domain knowledge
-Experience of effective global collaboration in fully distributed and hybrid teams
-Experience of leading distributed workshop sessions (e.g., user story writing, process mapping, modelling) with cross-functional stakeholder groups
-Experience of working on agile / Scrum teams delivering enterprise systems
-Business Analysis certification or equivalent training.
-Stakeholder management
The contract is for a 9 month period with a start in December rate £400 - £425 per day
