Our client, a growing, technically driven MSP that’s investing heavily in automation and next generation technology require a Senior 3rd Line Engineer. This is a pivotal role within the company and will require someone who can provide solutions for complex 3rd line issues whilst mentoring other team members within the support team.
The role is offered with a hybrid working pattern and is based at the company’s offices which are easily accessible for the Barnet/Watford areas.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the top-tier escalation point for complex incidents
- Lead the rollout + optimisation of NinjaOne RMM (automation, alerting, remediation scripting)
- Own M365, Intune, Conditional Access, hybrid Exchange, and Azure AD/Entra
- Mentor engineers in diagnostic methodology
- Work closely with technical leadership—no non-technical managers blocking decisions
Role requirements:
- Must have 3rd line experience within an MSP
- Expert M365 (CA, Intune, hybrid Exchange, ATP)
- Strong troubleshooting methodology
- Confident communicator at all levels
- Full Microsoft Certificates desirable
- NinjaOne/Datto RMM config
- Azure infrastructure
- Firewalls (Fortinet, SonicWall, Draytek)
- Solid PowerShell skills
The role is offered with a salary of between £55,000 - £60,000 + £3k annual certificate budget plus competitive benefits.
