The Ashdown Group has been commissioned by The Royal Foundation and The Earthshot Prize to identify an accomplished Search and Selection Operations Manager to join their team on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract.
The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge unites people to tackle some of today’s biggest challenges. The Earthshot Prize is a not-for-profit start-up that currently sits within The Royal Foundation but will spin out to become an affiliated independent organisation in 2022.
The Earthshot Prize is the most prestigious global environment prize in history, designed to incentivise change and help repair our planet over the next ten years. The Prize aims to turn the current pessimism surrounding environmental issues into optimism by highlighting the ability of human ingenuity to bring about change and inspire collective action.
In order to deliver this audacious vision, The Earthshot Prize (TEP) is now seeking an empathetic and innovative Operations Manager who combines project management experience with a passion for user-centered design and relationship building, to manage and enhance their search and selection process. You will liaise with key stakeholders and international partners to identify and engage innovators so consummate communication and stakeholder management skills are a prerequisite.
You will ensure that TEP is exemplary with transparent, fair, equitable, and inclusive processes and policies and will constantly look for ways to refine and improve the experience for all nominees. You will be expected to exemplify the values of transparency, collaboration, inclusion, curiosity, and kindness. Constantly eager to learn, you will build up a network of corporate, institutional & academic partners that you will collaborate with and leverage in support of the prize finalists.
You will have a proven track record of achieving operational excellence and will develop and maintain processes that deliver an outstanding user experience for future nominees and finalists. You will have a passion for implementing new and innovative ways of working in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment. You embrace making order out of multiple inputs and competing priorities, with an ability to build in and utilise flexibility.
