An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Team Manager to join a market leading organisation within the manufacturing sector.
The Sales Team Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the sales department and the overall sales performance of the company.
As Sales Team Manager your key responsibilities will include:
-Overseeing the sales department through allocating work, holding regular departmental meetings and mentoring and coaching staff. You will also be involved in sales staff recruitment and developing departmental policies and procedures.
-Devising, reviewing and presenting sales budgets, updating sales forecasts and producing monthly reports.
-Working with other sales department heads to develop plans for growing market share, setting targets and action plans.
-Ensuring the smooth running of the sales process and identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets.
-Developing relationships with new and existing clients, conducting site visits and representing the company at business conferences, trade fairs and networking events.
The ideal candidate will be a confident people manager with proven experience of leading a sales team. You will be results driven and enjoy building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP B1. A science degree is desirable but not essential.
The salary on offer for this role is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum OTE plus benefits including enhanced pension and contributions towards training and personal development.
