A leading global business based just outside of Manchester is seeking a driven, personable and self-motivated Sales Executive to join its team permanently! This is an onsite role with the opportunity to travel both nationally and to the U.S., a competitive benefits package, and many career development opportunities and training provided. You must be able to drive/have access to a car as the main site is not near a bus stop/train station.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be instrumental in producing new leads, converting them, and generating revenue through cultivating and expanding current accounts, whilst also looking to secure new business development leads and accounts. You will use your experience working in a B2B Sales environment to deliver high levels of customer care, with a methodical and inquisitive approach to selling.
You will meet customers regularly to evaluate their needs and desires; generate new business to support the continual growth of the business and maximize these opportunities; participate in complex negotiations; identify and report on business opportunities in target markets; maintain the sales reports; represent the business at trade fairs, conferences, and networking events; meet and exceed sales targets and oversee the handling of customers requests, from quote follow-ups, processing orders, administration of agreements and producing monthly sales reports.
To be considered for this role, you must have prior experience working within a B2B Sales environment, good data analysis skills, strong presentation and engagement skills and a proficiency in MS Office packages also (Word, PowerPoint).
