A prestigious specialist insurance business are looking for a Reinsurance Assistant to provide a reinsurance service and general support to the Reinsurance team.

This is an admin and data entry heavy role supporting the Reinsurance claims and underwriting teams, the ideal candidate will have prior experience working within Insurance or Reinsurance.
As the Reinsurance Assistant you will be assisting the team with claims and premium declarations to reinsurers, premium payments and claim recoveries. You will also assist the Reinsurance Executive with pool claim declarations.
Key responsibilities include ensuring all correspondence and documentation is promptly and correctly filed, composing accurate and professional business correspondence, responding to all telephone enquiries, providing support to the Claims and Underwriting teams, pool data entry and certain ledger keeper duties.
To be suitable you will have prior experience in a similar role, within the financial service or insurance sectors, strong MS Office experience particularly MS Excel, and have a fantastic eye for detail and accuracy.
The business offers a great working environment, with very low staff turnover. The salary on offer is up to £37,000 per annum depending on the experience you bring to the role, plus a great benefits package.
