Qualifications and Apprenticeships Manager
A well established not for profit organisation and looking for an experienced Qualifications and Apprenticeships Manager to join their team. The core focus of this Qualifications and Apprenticeships Manager role is to oversee and promote the accredited centres, currently City and Guilds and ILM, quality assure the work-based learning colleagues undertake in line with external standards as an accredited centre.
Key responsibilities will include:
Maintaining the accredited centre status e.g., meeting awarding bodies standards, undertaking quality assurance, meeting assessment requirements, co-ordinating audits by External Quality assurer (EQA), with overall responsibility for Qualifications performance.
Overseeing the team of assessors, including a level of internal verification to ensuring high standards are met, are consistent, and meet awarding bodies requirements.
Promoting proactively our range of qualifications with key stakeholders.
Developing and leading our Apprenticeship offering and Levy processes and account.
Working closely and collaboratively with Learning and Development, OD and other HR colleagues.
Engaging and maximising initiatives and sources of funding such as Kickstart, partnering with other organisations to utilise their levy.
To be suitable for the Qualifications and Apprenticeships Manager experience across the following is essential:
Qualified IQA to the appropriate level
Ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues, external contacts and stakeholders, built on trust and respect
Managing end to end qualifications as an accredited centre, learning and apprenticeship projects
Assessing and verifying qualifications to a high standard
Managing systems within accredited centre and apprenticeship levy account.
Salary - £45,000
Head office in SW London (Clapham) – but offers full remote working
