A large internationally recognised business is looking for a proven Python Developer to join a team developing the next modules for an enterprise web application. This is a contract role for initially 3 months and paying up to £550 per day - we expect this contract to fall outside IR35. This is likely to be a remote role however the successful candidate will need to get to the office in SE London on occasion.
The successful candidate will be part of an agile product team tasked with developing a secure data store for sensitive information and accompany web GUI for updating and search. The role will involve working in tandem with the lead developer and UI designer, and report into the project SCRUM Master.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have proven experience building enterprise web solutions (full stack) using Python, Django and SQL with a strong understanding of secure design principles. The ideal candidate will also have experience developing an application where encryption in transmission and rest was a specific requirement for confidential and/or sensitive data.
This is a pivotal role in a large constantly evolving business - they have plenty of planned projects so there is a chance this contract may be extended. This role would suit a creative and engaged professional who is comfortable with blurred boundaries, emergent thinking, and able to help to try to solve problems.
