This is an excellent opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to take an instrumental position within a small but very busy accounts team working for a leading manufacturing retailer in the Chingford area of East London. This role is 100% office based and is paying £28,000 + study support.
To be considered for this position you will have previous experience with purchase ledger / bookkeeping. This will include:
- Processing purchase invoices
- Matching invoices with PO’s ensuring correct details
- Processing and matching delivery notes with PO’s
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Aged creditor reporting
- Raising payment remittances
Reporting in to the Finance Manager and working alongside the Sales Ledger & Treasury Accountant you will be an integral part of the accounts team managing the company’s finances. You will have an outgoing personality and be able to deal with suppliers building & maintaining strong relationships.
As an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk / Bookkeeper you will ideally have previous experience with Sage (Line 50) and Excel.
Based in Chingford my client is looking for someone to be in the office 5 days a week (8:30 am – 5:00 pm) and is not in a position to offer hybrid work from home options.
