A highly successful and established business based in Birmingham are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join them on a fixed term contract. 

 

The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience managing a variety of non IT related projects.  This role will primarily focus on the delivery on of an extensive Learning and Development programme - any exposure to L&D or HR related projects would be beneficial.

 

The core focus of this role PM role is to plan, execute and projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of key stakeholders and third-parties in order to deliver projects as efficiently as possible.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

 

Lead meetings with external stakeholders and clients

 

Liaise with management teams regarding overall approach and prioritisation/resolution of any issues

 

Direct and manage project development from concept to completion

 

Define project scope, goals, budgets and deliverables that support business goals, in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders

 

Develop detailed proposals, project plans, schedules, timelines and milestones (using appropriate tools as necessary)

 

Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential problem areas and risks and devise contingency plans as required

Please note, our client has offices in both Birmingham and London, so occasional travel between the two sites may be required.

 

The salary on offer for this FTC is up to £38,000 pro rata, depending on experience.
