We are urgently seeking a Project Accountant with a strong background in financial modelling to join a Life Science company on contract basis. Our client is currently in the process of navigating a procurement tender process, so this is a pivotal role and key in supporting their tender submissions. The role is offered on a hybrid basis with four days working remotely and one day, site based at their offices in Southwest London.
As Project Accountant, you will work with the bid team for the duration of the procurement (estimated to be 6 months) to develop and maintain complex financial models to support tender submissions. You will ensure the business stays competitive across a multi-lot procurement process, including navigating TUPE implications and partnership strategies.
Central to the role will be the development of detailed financial models for tender submissions, analysing costs and contributing to pricing strategies for competitive bids.
The Project Manager will collaborate with bid teams, SMEs and partners to challenge and refine cost drivers. You will have a solid understanding of multi-lot synergies and be able to effectively communicate them within bids; also working effectively with partners to validate their cost structures for bid components.
The successful candidate will be.
• Fully qualified with ACCA, ACA or CIMA
• Extensive experience in bid work and tendering.
• Advanced financial modelling skills, using modern tools.
• Knowledge of TUPE and its financial implications.
• Strong interpersonal skills with exceptional attention to detail
This is a contract role so candidates must be available on an immediate basis. The salary on offer is £600-£650 p/d - inside IR35
