My client are looking for a Programme Management Team Lead to manage a newly formed team of technical Programme Managers. The team will lead on providing technical programme management for Innovate UK funded projects and support effective project planning through cross-functional collaboration. The role will ensure that the team is working closely with Project Managers to enhance new opportunities and advance projects.
The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical, managerial and client-facing experience.
This is a hybrid role offering 3 days working from home and 2 days on-site from their offices based in London, Farringdon or Milton Keynes.
Key responsibilities include;
Providing effective leadership and management of the team, including objectives setting and performance feedback.
Embedding way to working within the team and how they operate to enable a consistent approach and high quality of work.
Maintain close engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.
Provide guidance to the team to ensure technical content of bids and proposals supports both high bid win rates and efficient delivery.
Ensure the delivery of activities is prioritised according to business needs.
