Programme Manager, Birmingham - Hybrid working

This role entails spearheading a transformative two-year innovation initiative in the West Midlands, with a focus on catalysing growth in the clean tech, health tech, and med tech sectors. By doing so, you'll play a pivotal role in propelling economic advancement and accelerating SMEs across the region.
You will be the lead partner in a collaborative research and development endeavour, orchestrating a consortium of diverse partners to actualise its objectives. Your scope of responsibilities will encompass the day-to-day oversight of the program, demonstrating tangible returns on investment to key stakeholders.
This is a distinctive role within a newly forged team, dedicated to generating profound social and economic influence. Collaborating closely with the Programme Lead, you'll adeptly manage stakeholder expectations while ensuring the program's outcomes are communicated effectively.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Strategise and delineate the program's roadmap, proactively tracking its advancement.
- Forge and implement a robust governance framework to underpin program activities.
- Tackle and resolve potential risks at the program level.
- Optimise resource allocation and skill deployment across various projects.
Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrated track record in steering complex programs preferably across both public and private sectors.
- Sound grasp of the principles underpinning program and project management.
- Confident and articulate communication skills.
- Proven adeptness in engaging stakeholders at multiple levels.
