A leading innovation accelerator and project management office is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their cross-organisational team. This is a hands-on project management role with a focus on the strategic element on the programme too. This is a hybrid role offering working from home and on-site.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
Delivery of the agreed requirements of projects and programmes and ensuring they have all appropriate and relevant documentation and that they are maintained.
Leading a combination of projects and having overall responsibility for ensuring each party delivers their outputs.
Creation of risk control documents, progress reports, project plans, quality assurance and change control.
You will develop good relationships with key internal and external stakeholders within a dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment.
Closely work with the PMO Team Lead to embed project framework, processes and governance.
Skills:
Experience leading a large project portfolio.
Significant stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile and other project methods.
Desirable:
- Experience of leading Innovate UK funded or R&D projects.
- Experience of the transport and/or built environment sectors.
