A multinational business is looking for a highly analytical Power BI Developer to join its team on an initial 3 month contract. This role will be entirely remote and is Outside IR35.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have demonstrable expertise with Microsoft Power BI development and the Microsoft Data Platform stack including Azure Data Factory, Data Lakes, Databricks, and SQL Server. An understanding of Azure Application insights is also a prerequisite, ideally with specific knowledge of its use for web analytics.
In this role you will set up a process to extract Azure Application Insights data and work with senior stakeholders to design and develop dashboards that meet clearly defined business needs. You will be expected to make sense of the data and turn it into views, reports and dashboards that are as usable to non-techies as Google Analytics is. Power BI will be used for the end user experience and the information is held in an Azure data lake.
