A government body is seeking an experienced Part-time Receptionist to provide first response to service users & visitors. Working with the housing teams, the role will provide effective service to homeless and other households approaching for assistance, advice, and guidance. Duties will include managing the front desk, responding to emails / calls, co-ordinating visitors, managing diaries, carrying out fire evacuation training, coordinating cleaning, and general administrative duties.
Based in the Maidstone area, Kent. This is a contract role for initially 11 weeks (25 hours per week) from approximately 13th October and paying £14.57per hour, less deductions for insurance, taxes and umbrella company charges (PAYE £11.49 per hour). The closing date is Thursday, 9th October.
To be suitable for this role, you must have proven experience in a Receptionist, Team Secretary, Administrator or similar role in a complex organisation, ideally in a Borough or Council environment.
