A growing financial services company is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their tightly knit team on a part-time basis. Please note that this role is 20 hours per week and fully remote. This role offers flexible working hours, so you may choose which hours you work.
Within this role of significant responsibility, you will take ownership of the bookkeeping and posting of all nominal ledger transactions onto Sage. You will create invoice and expense claim payments and monthly sales invoices, as well as a weekly cash flow analysis. The position will report directly to the Management Accountant and will play an integral role in supporting the Finance department and wider business.
In order to be suitable for this role, you will have proven experience working within an Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeping role. You will have demonstrable expertise with bank reconciliations and accounts payable and receivable, paired with strong Sage knowledge (ideally Sage Line 50). Any experience with the preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments would be highly advantageous to your application but it by no means necessary.
