A prestigious, specialist insurance business based in Central London are looking for an Operations Team Assistant to join the team on a 2-month fixed term contract.
Please note the role offers hybrid working (3 days per week in the office and 2 days working from home).
To be suitable you will need to be immediately available and have experience working in a similar role within the financial services sector.
As the Operations Team Assistant you will be carrying out and monitoring screening checks within the organisation and you will be providing assistance to the Operational Support team.
Your key responsibilities will include ensuring screening/sanctions checks are conducted in a timely manner with all reports filed accurately, you will refer any high/medium risks to legal for investigation and maintain the daily exceptions reports and update the underwriting system where necessary. You will also investigate and rectify failed screenings through the automated claims screening function and undertake projects such as claim file and underwriting reviews.
To be suitable for this role you will have demonstrable experience within a similar role within the financial services sector – knowledge of KYC operation support is preferred. You will be a MS Office Suite user with experience using screening software such as LexisNexis and have excellent communication skills. You will need to be available for an immediate start.
The salary on offer is between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum pro rata dependent on the level of experience.
