A large well–established organisation is looking for a proven Network Engineer to be part of a dedicated in-house network team tasked with supporting and delivering network solutions to support the organisation. This is a hybrid role both working from home, and from their City, London office approximately 2 days per week. Duties for this Network Engineer role will also include writing and maintaining design, installation and configuration documentation as well as resolving technical / security problems and delivering upgrades and improvements.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have proven experience as a Network Engineer, Cisco Engineer or similar role. It is essential to have strong knowledge of the following:

Cisco routers & switches (Cisco ASR, Nexus & Catalyst),

Microsoft Azure IaaS, ideally with automation exposure

IP routing technologies for Campus and Data Centre (OSPF, MP-BGP)

Overlay & VPN technologies (VXLAN, IPSec, MPLS)

Cisco SD-WAN

Network Access Control systems (Cisco ISE) and 802.1x

Cisco Wireless
-
F5 Big-IP Application Delivery Control & BIG-IQ (LTM/GTM)

Cisco Firepower and Cisco ASAv

Cisco AnyConnect suite

CheckPoint / Palo Alto Firewall

Solarwinds Orion NPM, APM, Netflow & NCM
The ideal candidate will also have a CCNP or CCIE qualification, however this is not essential.
This is a key role in a large well-established organisation with an extensive digital transformation programme. This Network Engineer role is paying up to £59,000 plus benefits including bonus, pension, life assurance, income protection and medical.
