A highly successful, international technology business based near to Canary Wharf is looking for a highly talented Network Engineer to join its growing technology team.
Working within a dedicated team, you will be responsible for the support, maintenance and progression of the entire network infrastructure. This includes all elements of external and internal network security, fault resolution, troubleshooting, network expansion, design, system monitoring and general support.
As such you must be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the configuration and implementation of Cisco Nexus routers and switches and managing network security. You will require Cisco ASA firewall experience and ideally you will be Cisco certified, CCNP or CCIE.
The successful candidate will also have proven experience with LAN/WAN environments and experience with Cisco Wireless LAN controllers is beneficial; further to this, any cloud based experience, either with AWS or Microsoft Azure would also be advantageous to your application.
You must also demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will be working closely with other operational teams and will be responsible for producing network asset documentation and project proposals.
