.NET Developer - £500 p/d - 6 month contract
Our client, a leading financial institution are seeking a software developer with a good background in banking, who is proficient in Visual Studio, VB.NET, and digital application development for a 6-month contract position. The contract is inside IR35.
This is an urgent contract and the client needs the successful candidate to start quickly, therefore we can only consider applications from candidates who are available straightaway or with no more than 1 week's notice.

VB.NET and has experience in the development of digital applications within the banking sector, to play a key role in the development and enhancement of banking applications.
The role will see you collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and efficient banking applications using .NET technologies. Developing high-quality code adhering to coding standards and best practices and being involved in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Conducting thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects and issues. Working closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensuring compliance with banking regulations and security standards throughout the development process.
Key skills will include:
Proven experience as a .NET Developer in the banking or financial services industry.
Proficient in Visual Studio. VB.NET and experienced in the development of digital applications
Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative team environment.
Knowledge of banking systems, financial instruments, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced .NET Developer looking for a 6 month contract role with the potential to be extended. The daily rate is paying up to £500 inside IR35.
