Please note – this is a hybrid role (1 or 2 days per week in the office).
This role would suit a Marketing Manager or a Senior Marketing Executive looking for a step up, and candidates who have prior experience in a standalone marketing role.
As the Marketing Manager in this varied role, you will be responsible for supporting business development and the product teams. You will plan and execute customer engagement activities, liaise with internal and external stakeholders to organise programmes, events and trade shows and ensure brand awareness campaigns are targeted and effective.
As the Marketing Manager you will be the first point of contact for all marketing queries. Your key responsibilities will include contributing to the development of an annual rolling marketing plan and take ownership of the plan components, providing regular updates against success metrics. You will develop plans for brand awareness and end-user engagement programmes leveraging on digital marketing techniques including PPC and SEO, PR and other outreach activities. You will work closely with the sales team to understand requirements for product or vertical campaigns, execute marketing plans for industry events participation (product launches, webinars etc.) and promote brand communications via social media. You will also support the development of marketing materials (brochures, presentations, event materials etc.), manage marketing expenditure and track and provide reports on marketing metrics and return on investment performance.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role, ideally within the technology sector and will ideally hold a Marketing/Business degree/qualification. You will be an excellent communicator, highly IT proficient (MS Office and CRM tools – InDesign and Photoshop desirable), self-driven and results orientated and have excellent attention to detail.
The salary on offer is up to £65,000pa dependent on the level of experience and the benefits package includes private medical insurance, subsidised gym membership, pension and life cover schemes – to name a few.
