Based on the southern outskirts of Leicester, a FTSE listed, world-leading publisher with a complex CRM dataset is seeking an outstanding individual with a passion for marketing. Joining the organisation at an exciting time of innovation and progression, the company are investing heavily in marketing automation to support ambitious growth plans.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing you will contribute to the data strategy ensuring an improvement in the quality, scope and accuracy of datasets and marketing messages. Developing the client data and attributes using your analytical skills, you will allow the marketing team to deliver tangible insights to support client-facing activities and growth plans.
Analytical, engaged and smart, as someone who loves data, you will enjoy the responsibility of constructing and maintaining useful segmentation across datasets using demographic, firmographic, content and behavioural insights. From these insights you and the marketing team will build personalised communications to stakeholders, allowing you to be part of the shape of each message too.
Other internal stakeholders will include the Sales team, who will help you to build targeted client lists based on in-depth analysis of the data and their own insights, working together to provide and cleanse data lists for marketing campaigns. The data will be held or moved to a Marketo database and will use Smart Lists to segment it for the various audiences.
As always, data compliance is key in a role such as this, so you will be responsible for the management of data in accordance with GDPR and PECR regulations.
The final element of the role is the ongoing marketing automation project. The team are developing their data for Marketo integration and implementation, and to differentiate between transactional and commercial data requirements. Part of the role will be to build the processes and requirements for optimal CRM usage.
