A highly successful and established business with offices in North London, are looking for a commercial Manufacturing Accountant with significant manufacturing sector experience to join their team.
This Manufacturing Accountant opportunity would suit a qualified management accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) QBE will also be considered.
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for performing month end activities, producing and maintaining accurate product costings, preparing budgets and forecasts as well as performance metrics. Reviewing stock to drive down WIP stock. This will be a hands on, operational role where you will work to build strong working relationships with stakeholders to support the delivery of wider business goals. You will assist in the completion of the external audit work and internal delivery requests and will help drive performance across the organisation.
To be suitable you will have a solid background preparing management and production accounts as well as experience of stock accounting and related processes in manufacturing. You will be analytical, with strong organisational skills with the ability to build great working relationships at all levels. Excellent Excel skills are also a must.
