A well-established home services group with a portfolio of trusted household brands is seeking a Management Accountant to join the business.
Please note, this role will be fully office-based at the organisation's office in the Lambeth area of South London, with excellent transport links.
As the Management Accountant, you will play a key role within a small, collaborative finance team, supporting the day-to-day financial management of the business. This is a varied, hands-on position, combining management accounting responsibilities with transactional finance activities to ensure the smooth running of the finance function. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls and supporting the wider finance team as required.
Your key responsibilities as Management Accountant will include supporting the month-end close and reporting process, producing monthly management accounts with insightful commentary, preparing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), posting vendor invoices and credit card statements, calculating sales commissions and preparing HMRC CIS submissions. You will carry out detailed reconciliations and manual financial checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the balance sheet, support budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities, assist with external audit requirements and work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to improve financial understanding and decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience working within a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant or similar finance role, with experience of producing management accounts and supporting month-end processes. You will be part-qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA final stages or equivalent), or have completed AAT qualifications. Experience within a services or contracting-based organisation would be advantageous, as would experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. You will possess strong technical accounting knowledge, advanced Microsoft Excel skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

The salary on offer for this role is £50,000 per annum and a benefits package which includes 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, birthday day off, life assurance, pension scheme and an on-site gym.
