This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Linux Red Hat Administrator to take a newly created position with a leading IT consultancy in Surrey. This position pays £60,000 and is based in the Dorking area offering hybrid working options.
To be considered for this position you will have previous experience with Red Hat (RHEL) and managing a large enterprise Linux estate.
As part of the BAU team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continued stability, performance, and security of external clients' IT systems.
My client is a long-established leading IT consultancy with 3 sites across the UK. You will be split between working from home, working in the Dorking office, and some occasional customer site visits. The ideal candidate will be friendly & outgoing with a confident personality, someone who enjoys dealing with customers & users.
As an experienced IT Support Analyst you will have solid skills with Red Hat (RHEL), virtualisation (ideally RHEL virtualisation), patching, some scripting (Powershell, Bash, Python etc), and system security.
