A well-established software business is seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to join its team based in London. As the business embraces flexibility, you will be able to work from home up to 2 days per week.
Reporting into the IT Director, you will be responsible for the maintenance, performance and security of Linux-based systems across a multi-site environment. You will manage critical infrastructure including AWS services, firewalls and severs and drive process automation through scripting. You will be a key player in optimising Linux servers and delivering first class AWS solutions.
In order to be suitable for this role, you must have demonstrable experience configuring, supporting and enhancing Linux systems. You will be comfortable with network security, cloud infrastructure (AWS) and automation. You will hold in-depth knowledge of Linux distributions (RedHat, CentOS, Debian), have advanced Bash or Terraform scripting experience and strong hands-on experience of managing AWS cloud services. Relevant certifications including AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, RedHat Certified Engineer are advantageous to your application but by no means necessary.
