Legal Secretary – Reading
A highly successful Law firm based in Reading are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Clinical Negligence group.
Joining a team of three Legal Secretaries you will work in a wider team to support two Partners and multiple Senior Associate Solicitors.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Legal Secretary or within and administration role within a Law firm or practice.
To be suitable you must possess the following skills/experience:
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or have completed a Legal Secretarial Diploma
Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Highly organized and effective time management
Key responsibilities will include:
Administrative duties including but not limited to:-
Filing
Some typing from digital dictation
File closures
Setting up medical records & documents folders
"Topping and Tailing" outsourced typing
Document enclosures for outsourced typing
Sorting post
Fee notes
Collating documents
Generating bills
Opening files
