A highly successful, award-winning Law firm with offices in the UK & Europe are looking for a Billing Administrator to join the team at their Central London office. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with legal billing experience who is seeking a new challenge.
This role offers hybrid working (3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week working from home). To be suitable for this role you will have legal billing experience, perhaps you are currently working as a Billing Administrator / Billing Assistant / Billing Coordinator or are a Legal Assistant / Legal Cashier / Paralegal looking to develop your career within legal billing.
As the Billing Administrator, you will be working at the heart of a successful billing team, performing all billing duties in support of the team and contribute towards the continuing growth of the business.
Your key responsibilities as Billing Administrator will include organising and managing monthly billing workload, preparing WIP reports, amending WIP drafting and finalising bills. You will act as the first point of contact for queries and requests from lawyers across the UK and Germany and will assist paralegals with billing queries and support the billing team. You will assist the Billing Coordinator with ebilled clients, including uploading LEDES files and bills, onboarding new eBilled clients, managing client invoices and rates and invoice rejections and queries. In addition, you’ll liaise with the accounts team, manage disbursements and request opening of new case files. You will also be involved in cost analysis; producing reports and assist with monitoring WIP and billed fees to ensure compliance with budgets, assist in preparation of cost estimates, budgets and monitoring compliance and assist with preparation of statement of costs.
The ideal candidate will have 1 or 2 years’ experience working in legal billing and have previous work experience in the accounting field. You will have excellent IT skills including MS Excel and working knowledge of Inprotech or similar IP Management platform, e-billing experience is desirable.
The salary on offer is £30,000 - £34,000 per annum plus a great benefits package which includes a discretionary bonus, private healthcare, enhanced maternity/parental leave, flexi leave and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) – to name a few.
